Early life
& education
John was born on November 10, 1990, in Araya, Lebanon. He attended Notre-Dame de Jamhour and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. He pursued a Master of Arts in History and International Relations at Sciences Po through the Erasmus Program. He also completed his MBA from IE Business School and Singapore Management University.

John’s sharp humor and authentic storytelling have made him one of the most recognized comedians in the Middle East and beyond. He was also the first Lebanese comedian to film a stand-up special at the Dubai Comedy Festival, performing in front of 1,500 spectators. In 2024, John delivered a milestone performance at Beirut Holidays, where he entertained an audience of 3,000 people.
Beyond stand-up, John was the host of Tar El Waet, a Lebanese satire show on LBCI that blended comedy with cultural and social commentary. The show has gathered millions of views across platforms, proving that humor can be both hilarious and thought-provoking.

In addition to comedy, John is a corporate trainer who delivers workshops on Leadership, Communication, and Customer Experience. He has worked with some of the leading corporations across the GCC and MENA region, including Emirates National Bank Dubai, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Qatar Gas, Emirates Global Aluminium, Strategy&, Nokia, Jaeger-LeCoultre, ACE Gallagher, and more.
John is also the co-owner of Everythink, a family business specializing in board games, party games, stationery, and fun lifestyle items. He is the founder of The Hidden Cellar, a comedy club located at the ME by Meliá Hotel in Dubai.
